I'm Andrew, an AM in the Hartford area, but roam statewide for work (mostly on the highways) & fix things I find while doing so.

Feel free to post anything related to using Waze in CT here.

I wrote a detailed reply about road types but it was lost with error "no post mode specified" whatever that means.
Well, the test worked...

Also, I always seem to Copy my entire post right before I hit post just in case... You never know when the server is going to be mean to you and lose it all...

Hi all. I'm Bill and I mostly concentrate on the southern Connecticut areas around Milford. Since this is the area I live, I've only requested Area Manager rights for the surrounding towns. For the most part, I focus on local roads, exit ramp names, parking lots, etc... I've corrected the majority of the issues I've found but there's always something new!

Thank you for creating this forum; it's a great idea!

Hi Miss Riot! Welcome to Waze editing! I live in Bethel and also watch over the Danbury/Bethel/Newtown area. You will find a lot of information on the Wiki concerning Connecticut and the standards that we try to meet. I'd start here: http://www.waze.com/wiki/index.php/Connecticut

Our mentor, among others, is Andypoms. He'll be sure to help you and steer you right. We do have an active Waze editor community here in Connecticut so you have a lot of company. The more the merrier!

The Wiki is a treasure trove of information! There are a few listed here: http://www.waze.com/wiki/index.php/Foru ... re_Banners

You use the [IMG][/IMG] tags to include any pictures you want. If one of those doesn't apply you can use an image from anywhere. It should be fairly small of course because it will appear on all your messages.

Hey All, I'm Jay. I've been Wazing and an AM for a while, managing (along with some of you) the Oxford/Southbury areas South to the shore. I commute to NY daily so am able to cover plenty of ground and spot issues.

This forum is a great opportunity for us to compare notes, agree on best practices and get some continuity from area to area.

Thanks for kicking this off Andy!

I live in the Newtown area but drive the surrounding towns a lot (Danbyrt, bethel, brookfield, monroe, newhaven). I'll do my best to update anything necessary. I'm just getting the hang of this! :geek:

Hey CT editors - it would be cool to see where you all are on the map.

Check out the instructions for dropping your "area manager pin" and drawing a box around your "area manager area" at
