Excessive reporting

Post by LittleBe1
Username "Jersey City" has filled the map with hazards. Some don't apply and others are just dumb. All anyone sees while driving are yellow reports. Can someone look into this or delete the crazy amount of reports.

We don't control hazard submissions here, since they get submitted real time through the app. Unfortunately, the only things you can do is report them as not there when they come up and there is no hazard, or turn off notification for hazards in your app's settings.

Doing a little investigation on the matter, it appears the city of Jersey City is a Waze Connected Citizen Partner. Many of the closures are implemented by an automated Waze bot which is probably using city data.

Your best course of action given all the reports is to seek out someone with the Jersey City government to see if you can get some answers or voice your opinion on the overuse of notifications within Waze.
