Wrong final destination

While going over to a friends new place in Jackson, NJ, I entered his # and street address, only to end up 1/4 mile away on a completely different street. However, Waze said I was there. For example, Waze said, "Turn right onto A Street, you are now at your final destination" when in fact the actual name of the street I turned onto was called B Street. The A Street I needed was 1/4 mile away in the opposite direction.

How do I correct this? Or, can I correct this, as I am only Level 1. And if I can't correct this, who does?

Thank you. I added the house number, but I think the bigger problem lies with the street name. Even Google Maps sends you to the wrong street. This is a townhouse development, so I can only assume at one time the street name was changed. if you pull up the map and search for 506 Begonia Court, Jackson, NJ. You will be sent to 506 Goldthread court. I don't know if there is a way to change this.

OK, I see it fixed now, it must have just gone through. I made the HN on Tuesday. Once I cleared the old route on my app, and entered the address again, it now shows the correct location. Thanks for all the help.

There are many, many misplaced Google address pins in Ocean County - especially around Lakewood and Jackson.

I'd bet the HNs on on Begonia Ct (at least this one) are located wrong and it wasn't until you added the HN and Waze updated that routing was fixed. (This one is pending further review in Mapmaker to move it, I checked.)

If a user chooses a Google result they'll still get bad routing until the fix goes thru on their end.

If the street you are trying to edit is within your edit area (which it likely is if you drove there), then you should be able to adjust the house number yourself, as long as the road is locked to level 1 to match your level. You can read about House Numbers here.

If you are a new editor, also be sure to check out some basic into here. and welcome!

I entered "506 Begonia Court, Jackson, NJ" on my app and also in WME and both times got the correct location where you added the HN. Livemap does put you on Goldthread Ct for that address. If there is a verified HN in WME (and this one is verified since you created it), Waze will use that HN location rather than the Google location.
If you search in WME (not that app) for that address, it takes you to Goldthread Ct?

If you are searching your app, you'll need to delete all references to that address from your favorites, home, and history and search for it again, since the app caches a location once you search for it and will always use that cached location.

BTW, when did you add that HN? It could take a couple of days for the change to appear in the maps. But considering that my search took me to your HN location, it looks like you added it a couple of days ago.

Glad it's working now.
