So while you are an editor level 1 you can edit within 1 mile of the area you have driven. When you get to L2 it goes to 2 miles for all existing and future drives.

I am aware about WME EAs and ranks - all useful links provided by NJMedic2535 in "welcome package".

Maybe this question should be moved to "WME Feature Requests" - to have algorithm to unlock small areas inside bigger areas?

There is an algorithm.....driving and promotion.

Seriously though, you'll find a lot of these smaller swiss cheese holes in your EA will open up when you promote to R2. It'll seem like forever, but you'll get there. I promise.

It doesn't necessarily get any better either. With the crooked border between PA and NJ, my EA is missing some nice chunks that would make it contiguous.
