US-130 in Robbinsville

Postby MReiser » Fri Aug 09, 2013 9:55 pm

Can someone familiar with this area take a look at this intersection?

I can follow the GPS tracks to see that the aerial view is outdated, but it looks to me like the edits are only half-finished.

Is N Main St re-routed on a temporary basis or a permanent one? If temporary, the turn restrictions need to be set appropriately. If it's permanent, then the unused segment of the road needs to be deleted. Regardless, I don't think the new roadway is typed correctly as a Ramp.

If I ever make my way throught the Robbinsville / Hightstown area I can check it out, but otherwise I hope there is a local editor more familiar who can make sure this is 100%.

I'm not familiar with that particular intersection, but if you can hold off for a day, I'll take a spin up and check it out. I have something to do in Princeton tomorrow (and a little revision I was working at the Robbinsville Bypass and US-130 intersection that needs some unlocks), so I can survey it and see what's going on there.

Update!

Alright, so that intersection has permanently changed. N Main Street was shifted northward. Half of the old N Main Street path has been eliminated, and the other half is now the gas station's parking lot with an exit back onto US-130 South.

I adjusted the paths slightly as well as the roadway classifications, and it's correct now. The gas station's exit is a little odd and I do want to double check that another day, plus see whether N Main St just extends to Voelbel Rd or if the ramp coming from 130 is also part of that.

If someone could help by dropping the Level 4 & 5 locks down to Level 3, I can tie in the new arrangement. I was also looking to clean up the US-130/Route 33 ROW by standardizing the road and alt names in Robbinsville, adding in some parking lot paths for businesses along the highway, and fixing some of the median left/U-turns.
