Restore Exxon @ Ex 36 on I-78

Post by BlueHwy
The Exxon @ Ex 36 on I-78 in Basking Ridge on boarder with Warren, NJ border was deleted from report list.
Had been non active for maybe last two months while Fuel tanks were replaced and then new cement poured - difficult with cold weather.

The temporary fencing blocking entrances has been removed and just do not cross tape is now in it's place so expect it to reopen once fuel is delivered.
How/Who can restore the station to active? They were expensive but not as bad as Exxon at Ex 33.

And this Getty appears twice in the list when reporting so delete the extra.

Also Sunoco is Mislabeled, but is a Delta

Don't know how it got removed or by who, but it is only possible to edit them elsewhere per these posts http://blog.waze.com/search/label/Gas%20Prices
Maybe it will come back
So use Gasbuddy instead

The Exxon did reappear for price posts, but it's shown as blank unnamed.
Since it's the only station in area doesn't matter.
The station is lazy/cheep, they now have diesel but have not bought a new sign to be able to post the diesel price so you'd pass them by.

It doesn't look like gas stations can currently be added in the United States. Gas station landmarks can be added, but they will not be linked into Waze's gas station location/price system. This is why it's important to never delete gas station landmarks unless a station is, beyond doubt, permanently closed.

I think the landmark portion of it is used to create a geo-fence you have to be within in order to report updates to the station's gas prices. That's why they get boxed in out to the fence line.

Maybe there's information about how to request updates in the Gas Station Landmarks sticky thread in the general United States forum?

It is a third-party provider. Has nothing to do with landmarking. I don't know who the US provider is, but whoever it is, that's where the corrections need to be made.
