Can someone take a look at the work I did for the Bogard Road Extension East and approve it? The ribbon cutting was 3 NOV 2015.

Since the aerials and GPS points haven't refreshed since the change, and I'm not a local, all I can do is check for the usual things. On the whole it looks great. There are some red roads near the schools that look a bit odd, and one of the roundabouts is not on center.

Roundabouts give different driving instructions depending if the roads come in and leave at nice right angles or not. Please see the USA wiki article on Roundabouts, especially the section on "Understanding navigation instructions". Note that the article was written by the mathematically inclined, so they use the word "normal" instead of "right angle" but in mathematics they mean the same thing.

I'm not sure about the roundabout in question, but if it were me, I'd probably reconstruct it so that the roads attach to it pretty close to 90° from each other.

As for the alignment, I'm sure it's good enough for now. Once people start driving that way we will hopefully get a nice cloud of GPS points and can use that to improve alignment.

That's all I can think of. Hope that helps!

Yes, I was thinking of the circle at Bogard Rd and N 49th State St. Even if it is off-center in reality, please remember that roundabouts give different driving instructions depending on whether the roads come in and leave at nice right angles or not. Please see the USA wiki article on Roundabouts, especially the section on "Understanding navigation instructions".

In this specific case, just by eyeballing it, it looks like the junction nodes are likely within spec for a right-angle roundabout. So it's probably OK, just closer to the edge than usual. If you don't know what I'm talking about, I would really recommend the USA wiki article on Roundabouts.

Also, I just noticed the roundabouts have names. In Waze we typically don't name roundabouts (that's also in the article but somewhat buried), so I'd recommend removing the street name from those two.

Great work, and thanks especially for asking for a review! Very professional :D I'm Rank 4 but I still ask for a review now and again. Especially since Waze keeps changing things to keep us on our toes.

Thanks for the advice.

I've fixed the red roads. The traffic circle to the East is larger than the one to the West and off center, due to abandoning the connection between N 49th State St and E Colony Way.

I removed the road names form the roundabouts. I'll also reread the roundabout section it seems that is the way the DOT is going when upgrading roads in my area.
