You will want to avoid walking paths at this time. There are some problems related to walking paths and routing even when the paths are not connected to the road. For example, if a path is between the road and someone's house, Waze will not be able to route to that house unless there is a driveway mapped. This is because the routing server will look for the closest segment to the address point and try to route there. If that segment happens to be a walking path and it is disconnected from the roads, then Waze will fail and say it can't route you there. And we don't want to connect the paths to the road or Waze may route drivers down the paths. Until something is done to fix those problems, I'd avoid adding any new paths to Waze, at least unless those happen to be in the middle of nowhere (away from any addresses or Points of Interest that someone might want to route to). If the paths are already there, then whether or not to remove them comes down to deciding if they are going to cause any routing issues.
