I checked the cameras several times through the day. I also could see no detours and it got me to wonder if they were doing work yesterday and today due to the weather forecasts. I have to say the traffic yesterday and this morning reminded me of when I first started working in the District. At that time, I had no idea how good it was.

The only time I've seen Mass. Ave. closed through there is over weekends. But the DDOT information does not say when the road will be closed, which is both bizarre and frustrating.

I've been watching the webcams occasionally to get a better idea of what is going on with this project.

So far, I have not seen any full closures on weekdays, just lane closures.

Two weeks ago (Jan.31-Feb. 1), Mass. Ave. was closed on Saturday and Sunday all day, during daylight hours, between 3rd and 5th Sts, and westbound only between 2nd and 3rd.

Last weekend (Feb. 7-8), Mass. Ave. was closed between 2nd and 3rd both ways, but open west of 3rd.

Today (Feb. 14), there don't seem to be any closures at all.
