Can't move place marker

Do I not have sufficient rights? I tried to move a place marker to its correct spot and it wouldn't move.

That's certainly one possibility. Another possibility is that the map editor was just being uncooperative, which happens to all of us. (If a place marker has pending update requests, you can't move it until you've disposed of all the pending updates.)

If you let us know which place in particular was giving you problems, someone can take a look at it.
