Officially, Waze needs to match the signage on the road (which should match the official information from US DOT).

I've been hunting through various pictures of the roads and am having trouble finding ANY signage that shows both "I-695" and one (or more) cardinal direction(s) (north/south/east/west).

For example, I-95 is marked North/South (from Florida to Maine), but runs East/West in Connecticut. In Waze it is labled "I-95 N" & "I-95 S".

There are actually several I-695s in the US -- They are all "Auxiliary Interstates" to I-95: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_au ... erstate_95

I don't go that way often enough to know for sure what it is officially named.

Yeah, it's funny. That short section of 695 has technically been in DC for decades but there was never any signage marking it "695". I remember seeing a blurb on the news a while back when the construction was ramping up.
