First off, Please post a Permalink to the location in question so the rest of us can look at it.

I'm moving this to the Minnesota section of the forum so you can get some local help.

MN 35W S at 62W in Twin Cities

Postby CanaanDog » Wed Jul 15, 2015 3:55 pm

A couple of days ago I was driving down 35W S in MInneapolis/Richfield. As I approached the crosstown (62) Waze wanted me to exit onto 62 W. While one can get back on 35W S from 62 W (35W and 62 run parallel for a short distance), this was a stupid instruction because 62 W was backed up and 35W S was clear, so I didn't do it.

Though it seemed unlikely, I presumed there might be a map issue of some sort. I just checked the map, and it looks fine to me, although I am a newbie editor and might not be able to tell. So I'm posting so that experienced map editors familiar with the Twin Cities can take a look.

Thanks, Andy, obvious advice now that you've mentioned it.

I [think I] highlighted the segment that's the exit Waze wanted me to take, whereas one should have continued straight down 35W S.
