I think they could have avoided the ticket completely if they had used Waze...

I've had the same thing happen in DC
here. Recieved a speeding ticket by mail with the two pictures that clearly showed I was in stop and go traffic. Fortunately in DC you can challenge the ticket by mail, so I didn't have appear in court to make it go away.
