Is there a way to fight back at the bill I received?

Post by cameraguy
I have a question. I went to see an endodontist to get an estimate on how much he charge for a root canal done.

They never told me that they charge an estimate for it.

Well, I received a bill for it and it was quite expensive.

I try calling them but they will not do anything for me and they expect me to pay for it.

I just wondering if there's a way to fight back at the bill I received?

I am not a lawyer and otherwise don't know how to advise you. Root canals are quite expensive. Always get an estimate. (I know that doesn't help much with this situation.)

Well, this may be an expensive "learning experience" for you. Hopefully others who read this will be educated.

ALWAYS ask if an estimate costs anything...no matter what you're getting it for. Dentists/Dr's are no different than your local car mechanic. They will all screw you one way or another if they can!

Unfortunately I don't think you have any recourse if you didn't ask up front. :(
