[New Page] How to Report Map Issues

Post by russblau
I noticed that although we have a lot of instructions for map editors, we don't have any instructions for Waze users who want to report map issues. Among other things, editors might want to provide a link to such instructions as part of their boilerplate responses to mystery URs. And the "How to Report" wiki page has a blank section for reporting Map Issues. So, I took a crack at drafting such a page:
http://wiki.waze.com/wiki/User:Russblau ... Map_issues

I would welcome comments and suggestions. Feel free to edit the page boldly if you have ideas for improving or expanding it.

Looks great, so far! Nice work.

One typo I noticed, second paragraph under Communicating... "In some areas there are many active areas..." :)

Also, I think a suggestion about where to go for app issues would not go amiss.

I've updated the page to take account of the suggestions so far, and moved it into the main namespace (as [[How to report/Map issues]]). I'm leaving the "draft" notice at the top for now.

Yes. If you want to create some basic info and put it on a temp page or just post it in a Code entry in this page, I can massage it to work in nanoRep.
Which markup language does the nanorep use?

I can add nanoRep entries, but they are generally no where near this big. We would need to break it down into sub sections, of just give the basic overview of each paragraph in our Wiki page.
davielde do you want to take a crack at it?

I added to the end of the report closures exception, to include a link to the official source of info for the project or closure. If this was not your intent, feel free to remove it.
