I have been using (Closed) since that was supported in the wiki. Essentially the road is closed permanently. I also add a [CONSTRUCTION] UR to it explaining the situation. Then remove when I see the imagery updated.PhantomSoul wrote:Ok, so what does everyone here do when a road, like a ramp or AGC, is permanently removed as part of a construction project? Usually one can tell if it's permanent by driving by and seeing the road completely removed, or just plain being familiar with the construction plans and knowing the road has been removed. I've typically disconnected segments like that, changing their name to "(removed)" to indicate to other editors the road is no longer there, despite what is seen on the map.
I don't want to simply delete it until the aerial image is updated so as to not show the road there anymore. This help prevent a wayward editor from trying to re-add the road.
I also don't want to use "(closed)" since that implies the road will be re-opened at some point.
