Grammar Correction in State Template

Post by dmcrandall
It was just pointed out to me that a word is missing in the preamble for the PLACES portion of the State wiki template. Missing word is highlighted:

"It is recommended that the guidelines in that page are not deviated from unless first discussed in the state forum linked on this page."

What say ye?

That still is some ugly grammar with the two adjacent prepositions. I assume we aren't supposed to use "you" in the wiki? Because a change to active voice would make it flow better.

I haven't seen a guideline against active voice. It can be phrased without a pronoun. "Do not deviate from the guidelines without first obtaining consensus to do so via the state forums.
