Junction Style Guide/Interchanges

I've updated the construction box and will update the link to point to here.

What I've done so far:
Under this section Segment Naming the table Wayfinder naming examples needs to have its columns aligned. The continuation sign image is overtaking the continuation road name. I went ahead and made the changes by doing the following mods:
- changed colspan=3 to 2
- added an extra line to recenter the rest of the images

So it goes from this
[ img ]

to this
[ img ]

Finally, seeing as it's the only section with a table with a name on it, I made the table a sub of Segment Naming ( ===== Wayfinder Naming Example =====) unless that wasn't needed. Or should it be butted up against the text like the table in the section Configuration and have the images shrank so the table is closer to the text?

Work/convo on this page seemed to have died down. Asked Kent via PM since the construction box was still referencing him, and suggested to make a new thread.

I've updated the construction box and will update the link to point to here.

I don't think this was the intent of the table. The design before you modified or was intended for the image of the BGS to dish all 3 columns, and then below out there are 3 cells of text defining where that BGS applies. You'll notice the BGS solid over to the first column (#) as well. Essentially the column headers don't apply to image itself, rather the text below it. Let's look at the first example.
The left side of the table (3) columns discussed the existing signage/road configuration, the right side illustrates the associated rule, segment making and configuration.
The BGS image was allowed to be wider so it could be seen better, most BGS are rectangular.
From left to right the example number, this is the first example. A text rendering of the BGS, the name of the road the BGS is for. The naming rule applied for this road, whether the road before and after the Wayfinder are the same. The segment name for the Wayfinder stub.
You'll notice that the images dont all match the headers, the context image doesn't show the segment name, etc. IMHO there's no benefit to having an empty cell in the 3rd column next to the BGS, I think it was better with the colspan=3

I can still see/read the BGS after the change. As for the continuing road name column, could the text just merge with that empty cell above it? It just seemed off with the old method by having the image spill over to the next cell.

As mentioned recently the Wayfinder configuration setup images were redrawn with the new color scheme.

I was notified today that the road types in the configuration for some of them have been reversed and verified by comparing to the image history. I will revert those images now until new ones can be uploaded.

I will make correct images in a sandbox space for review rather than in place.

I apologize for the error, and for the problems it caused.

Please have a look:
https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/User:Voludu2/wayfinder

I just uploaded the two final wayfinder images in this page.
If it looks like I have them correct this time, I'll replace the images in the page.

Thanks for catching my error so quickly.

Could we use "No-name" rather than "unnamed", as the two actually refer to different things?

I also have a couple comments about the table...
It's a potentially useful table, but it's a bit difficult to read due to the width limitations of the wiki page. I would recommend cropping the images to only show just the necessary components of the BGS.

i also agree with Pz re the two columns—I prefer the colspan.

I have reverted this change.

Pesach's interpretation is correct. The "continuation sign" and "continuing road name" are both data pulled from the image. The colspan was not set in error. Besides, the original configuration fits better within the size of the Wiki.
