No Voices

I had a problem with Waze and had to delete and reinstall it. Now all the voices are gone. There is the default voice for whatever language you choose, but that's it. Even the option to choose another voice is gone. Why is the Android version of Waze vastly inferior to the Apple version? This isn't the only complaint I have about the android version. I'm sick and tired of having to borrow an iPhone in order to enjoy an app so closely tied to Google. How do I fix this issue?
