Driveways in Rural Areas

Post by ash47music
I agree. My house is set WAY back off the street (the same applies for some of my neighbors) and Waze always tries to tell me to take the (inaccessible from my house/driveway) street behind my house just because it's closer than the street I can actually access. As I go down my driveway Waze reroutes twice!

It doesn't instruct to turn at the driveway. When approaching the end of my driveway it says that you have arrived at your destination.

Sorry to piggy back, but I am having the same issue. I have no cell service within three miles of my house, so when I get to the end of the driveway and wifi disconnects, it is unable to reroute me off of the road behind my house.

I think I qualify for some of the driveway exceptions, so what would be the process to get mine approved? If it doesn't qualify, that is completely fine but I'll likely stop using the app anywhere near home.

Did you ever get this solved? Certain long driveways do end up getting mapped depending on the case
