Once we figure out what the "rules" are, would the new Junction Style Guide page be a good place?

Here is a one node roundabout I set up in a cul-de-sac many months ago. Link to livemap route into it.

And a link to a livemap route OUT of it.

Out looks funny to me. Nav list shows a LEFT off of the roundabout, but it shows a right visually on the map.

I found that previous roundabout example because I was hunting for examples to screen capture... I have expanded the Junction Style Guide in the wiki to include No Outlet Roads such as dead ends, cul-de-sacs, and loops.

I've actually made some loops that are big enough not to be a cul-de-sac going around several houses like a block. When the loop is two-way it actually seems to be working.

When doing this loop I have to add a node before the loop, connect the loop to the segment before the loop (a second node is created) and then pull the two nodes together.
According to turn restrictions it doesn't seem to be a problem.

I now understand the problem trying to navigate to and from a closed loop.

To a closed loop...

But regardless of where your destination is...

...you will be routed the same way. Maybe because the recorded speed is higher that way, or it's the first option in the junction.

...Waze can't find a route to the junction.

In this case it's just a loop around the block and won't cause that much of a problem. But let's say it's a 100 miles long road around a lake...
