New Page - Feature Request

Postby kentsmith9 » Thu Aug 30, 2012 7:06 am

A very basic page, but provides information on adding new features with links to User Voice for both sites.

Until WazeHQ start using User Voice properly, you're wasting peoples time by pointing them towards it.

The User Voice entries haven't had a clear out since client version 3 and the new map editor were released. Not that the WME is new anymore.

Support did direct me to use UserVoice just this week, so it is still the official channel for feature requests.

I agree many of the entries are outdated. We should probably post a message to support that they need to be cleared out. I imagine with the limited resources inside Waze these days, it might be better if one of us wants to sort through the list and capture links to the entries that are already fixed, added, changed, etc. so someone can get them off the list and return vote points to people to pick new desired features.

I don't doubt that. But when was the last time they actually looked at it?

Perhaps you should post a user request for that.

Well, I got notified this week that a request had been updated from "Planned" to "Under Review". I'm not sure that's progress, but it does show at least some activity by HQ...

Pretty sure that's a backward step.
