Time-restricted roads, yet again

Currently, FAQ 27 (http://www.waze.com/wiki/?title=FAQ#Doe ... _of_day.3F) says:
Therefore, in order to prevent Waze from recommending an illegal turn, if a turn is restricted during any time of day, it is better to restrict the turn completely. This is especially true when the restriction is set during commute hours when the traffic is the most busy and confusing.
There is a lengthier discussion of the same topic on the Best Editing Practices page. Neither of these pages recognizes any exceptions, even though exceptions do exist -- specifically, where following the "restrict the turn" rule would completely eliminate routing over a major commuter route, such as Rock Creek Parkway or Canal Rd in Washington, D.C.

I suggest, therefore, that the FAQ quoted above have the word "usually" inserted before "better"; and that the Best Editing Practices section (http://www.waze.com/wiki/?title=Best_ma ... cted_Turns) be revised by inserting the underlined sentence:
Waze currently has no provision for handling this type of restriction, although it is planned for the future. In a situation where a turn is illegal during certain times of the day (e.g. No Left Turn, 7-10 am, 3-7 pm, Weekdays), it's generally best to err on the side of caution and restrict the turn. This way, waze will never instruct a driver to make a turn when it is illegal (typically during rush-hour traffic, the worst-possible time to create driver confusion). There are some exceptions; in particular, where restricting these turns would eliminate all possible entries to a major commuter route. For example, where a commuter road is one-way during rush hours, in opposite directions, turns onto that road should not be restricted even though those turns are prohibited during certain hours of the day.
Thoughts?

The WME beta thread for today is already huge. Almost 100 posts. :)

In the WME Beta Editor forum of course. Do you have access to the editor and not the forum?

When I fired up the beta editor this morning I noticed a new symbol when clicking on a junction. Time based restrictions.

I haven't had a chance to check into things further yet though.

It is beyond my comprehension why we have not yet been able to make Rock Creek Parkway work successfully. I'm somewhat beyond caring what we say about how we should treat reversing roads given the current inadequate tools. Other than that I agree with your proposal.

If you have access to the sub-forum, its really easy to find. When I was first granted access to the beta editor, they forgot to give me access to the sub-forum. I had to remind them.
