Onde podemos sugerir novas categorias?

- Hospital / Emergência (Hospital / Urgent Care);
- Centro Médico / Clínica (Doctor / Clinic).

Agora me perguntem.

A ideia é a mesma. :P

a new WME version is out. New in this version:

* Adding new medical categories and removing the old one ("Hospital / Medical Care"):
1. Hospital / Urgent Care: Feel free to start moving relevant places to this category. We will also be sending lists with Permalinks soon to the community coordinators to help this process.
2. Doctor / Clinic: no need to move things to there, we are currently migrating everything that is currently in "Hospital/ Medical Care".
Please note that while we are migrating "Hospital / Medical Care" to "Doctor / Clinic" you may see places that temporarily show none of the medical categories. No need to panic, they will all be back with the new label once the migration is completed! ;) I will notify you
* Layer Switcher hover - ENABLED
* Layer Switcher - "more detail" moved to top
* Adding EN-US as a translation language for the editor.
* Updated translations

Happy editing!

In the coming days. We will notify ahead of time.
kpouer wrote:Hi, it is interesting but it would be nice to have an idea of what you want to do with that so we can give instructions to editors.
I suppose the idea is to be able to route people to urgent care to make a difference with a venue that is not for emergency (dentist or normal doctor) ?
Exactly, this is the idea. This will be supported in Search as well and is supposed to differentiate between emergent and non-emergent care.
JustinS83 wrote:I see the Offices category was changed as well - it now includes "(incl. non-emergency medical)" in the description.
I think this is a poor choice as it will give editors the impression that Offices can/should continue to be used for some medical locations when in fact the new "Doctor / Clinic" category should be used for non-emergency medical.

This is not a change in category definition. This is the en-US translation for Offices, as they wanted to be able to differentiate between emergent and non-emergent care for a while already. Now that we have the Doctor / Clinic category this should be renamed to Office.
