New version navigation position is lagging a second or two from the actual position of the vehicle. This causes drivers to miss their turns in city areas where roads are close together.

I had to downgrade my waze to the previous version to fix the delay.

Kindly fix this bug.

I can't seem to get planned drives notifications to work. I have checked the settings on Waze and also notifications settings but I never get notified when it is time to leave. Can anyone confirm if it is working as expected and then perhaps we can try to figure out what's wrong with my settings. Thanks.

iPhone X Map Issue

Postby alexbr0gan » Sat Nov 11, 2017 7:00 pm

Hi, is anyone having issues with the new iPhone X and Waze? It seems that the new screen dimensions are stretching the map as every time I approach a turn, the map suggests the turn is further along the road than it actually is. This is causing harsh breaking and missing turns at times.

I validated that neither Google Maps nor Apple Maps suffer from this issue, so it's not a GPS subsystem problem.

iOS 11.1 on iPhone X.

Confirming that this issue persists on iOS 11.1.1 (iPhone X)

iPhone X, iOS 11.1.1

I notice that the app no longer auto-wakes when you switch to it. So, before, if I I put it to sleep and then went to the Home screen, and used other apps, when going back to Waze it would auto-wake. It no longer does this - you have to press the Wake up button.

Same problem on iOS 11.1.1 on iPhone 7 Plus!

I am having the same issue in IOS 11.1.1 on iPhone X
Missing turns like crazy now.

Also having issue with audio playing through my car BT regardless of what settings I have selected in settings. Worked fine in previous versions.

Oh, and to be clear, there is no lag if driving with no destination selected, only when following route guidance to a destination. (As noted elsewhere, also on 11.1.1.)

I am having the same issue where the screen is not showing me correctly where my vehicle is. It seems to be lagging behind and is practically unusable at the moment.

It looks like I am not the only one who is having issue with delayed update of location on map (roughly 3-4s delay? Please release version 4.33 reverting 4.32 updates. The late update on my phone is driving me crazy!
