When I try to use Waze via Andriod Auto in my Peugeot the application displays message;

"Before you start, disconnect your device from your car and log in to Waze".

I log in and turn on the app before I plug it into AA and have tried numerous times. Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong or how to fix this issue? All the other Andriod Auto apps work fine and I can see that Waze is working I just can't get this message to clear despite following the instructions.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
