Icons on top line of Blackberry screen

Can anybody explain what the 'icons' mean on the top line of the blackberry screen.
e.g. the red exclamation mark with 40 next to it...
Where are these documented??

The exclamation and number is the number of road reports near you - police, traffic, hazards, etc.

Thank you for the link. I was totally lost. I guess the BB version of waze is still beta and maybe not fully supported? I wish they made some videos about how to use waze? All I found was about how they are up and coming and news.
