Recently my wife has been commenting that on her phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) camera alerts are showing the wrong distance to the camera - they'll be saying the camera is still a hundred yards or so away as she drives past the marker on the map.

Tonight we were driving home together and I took the opportunity to compare our phones side by side (I'm using a HTC One M8). We're both running Waze 3.8.1.0, and both phones had our car placed at the same spot on the map during the drive, yet consistently her phone would pop up the camera alert a couple of seconds after mine, but showing the same starting distance, therefore leaving her distance countdown lagging behind mine by this 2-3 second delay and hence showing the camera being about 100 yards further away...

Same version of the app, same GPS position, same mobile network, and two phones that aren't particularly different performance-wise, so I can't see any reason why her phone is consistently slower at displaying the alerts. Anyone got any suggestions (besides telling her to ditch the Samsung and get a decent phone like mine )
