New phone > unable to retrieve account
After my android phone died, I just replaced it with an iPhone. I loaded WAZE, but am unable to reload my former account. I have set up a new account today, just to get operational, but I would prefer to kill this new account and retrieve my old username, points, etc.
I have been through this sequence multiple times over two days . . .
The system asks for a verification code, which I enter.
WAZE changes screens and says "You look familiar," after which it displays my partially masked username, when I last connected, score, and rank.
There is a "Yes, it's me" button, which I click.
Next screen says, "Bad news, bucko! Unable to verify." REALLY!!!? You just verified name, rank, and score!?!?
Then I am given the options to create a new account or other sign in options. The sign in options are Facebook or username and password, both of which fail. I ultimately had to create a new account, but would still prefer to salvage my old account and then kill off this new one. Is there a way to accomplish this?
