- Is there a way to use custom themes on a non-rooted phone?
Does waze look up for a theme somewhere under the /sdcard directory?
- I noticed that in v4.21.0 the theme structure changed (again...) Is it stable now or should we expect more changes?

non-rooted android device for version
4.21.
I'm trying to replace the night theme of the default theme. Used to have a rooted device and I just replaced the skin_values.night.lua file. Now I can't do this anymore.
People keep posting links to that old wiki page (
https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Custom_color_schemes) that doesn't seem to be working anymore.

Hi,
only small pics can be uploaded (250kB), but after seeing your screenshot - it might help to turn off the Display Auto Mode.
It's easy:
My Waze (bottom left key) -> Go to Settings -> Quick Settings -> Mode (->Day).
In general, Display Setting are also there to play with your Map Color Scheme.

Hello folks!
Does someone managed to upload 4.0 color schemes to IO 9 system?
I can get to waze file system.
Made a folder skins and put color scheme there.
But still nothing appeared in Waze app...
Do I still miss something?

Now I'm not sure what that this was 4.0 version
But I also didn't find any already existing color schemes in there.
May be some one who managed to get working 4.0 under IOS9 4.0 could send a screenhot of expanded folder list? May be I'm messigng there...

Am now on Waze 3.9.3 for android and have reinstalled my custom color schemes
Thought I would have a play with Ferry settings.
When I remove the comments, waze will show ferry routes but no matter what color settings I use, the ferry routes seem to use the Streets color settings.
My current Ferry settings are:
# Ferry
Ferry.Class: Road
Ferry.Color: #0000ff
Ferry.Color1: #0000ff
Ferry.Color2: #0000ff
Ferry.Declutter: 1500
Ferry.Delta1: 0
Ferry.Delta2: 0
Ferry.Thickness: 1
Which should show as a blue line but it looks like this.
On the other hand, my railway settings which are very similar, work perfectly.
Railroads.Class: Road
Railroads.Color: #000000
Railroads.Color1: #000000
Railroads.Color2: #000000
Railroads.Declutter: 1500
Railroads.Delta1: 0
Railroads.Delta2: 0
Railroads.Thickness: 1
Are ferry colors supposed to work or are these still in progress?
