I have the same problem with new mobile nexus 6 (google-motorola).

I had an account on Waze that had all my points, favorites saved on. When I tried to log on recently it seems like it had all been erased and I have trouble accessing it. I'm not sure what caused it - maybe a recent update and I believe I enabled a feature called smart lock shortly before it happened. When I try to recover and enter my email it sends me a serial username instead of the username I registered with - what should I do?

I tried a variety of pws I normally use but they aren't working
It doesn't show up when I enter my phone number either - it shows a baby wazer account when I'm at least one level up
Is there a way to get the a account back - surely Waze has a backup of the account - I dont want to keep resetting everything just to lose it again

I know my account was working because I used the app before the phone re-installation. I also removed Wave from my phone and then installed it again but the issue is still there.

I have have checked it out and it found my account but it never sent me to the page to type in my password or variation code it's says "despite all our efforts we can't verify to account " so idk what to do next please help me
