Slashes no longer pause TTS readings

Since the old TTS voices were retired and replaced with a new TTS voice, I have noticed that TTS on the iPhone app no longer pauses for slashes. Slashes were used on BGS readings on ramps to pause. "Exit 9B / MD-140 West / Westminster," for example, used be read as "Exit to Exit Nine Bee (pause) Maryland One Forty West (pause) Westminster." Now, however, with the new TTS voice, it is read as "Exit to Exit Nine BeeMaryland One Forty WestWestminster," which is kind of annoying, and defeats the purpose of putting slashes on the ramp names to match posted signage.

How do I escalate this to someone at Waze Corporate?

Hey. I had the same issue for the German language.

Please ask your LC/CM/GC to get in contact with waze HQ. I changed it back to a pause. But only for German. Each language can have its own decisions- made by the community and the HQ...
