I usually get notification of thanks, but sometimes they come several hours (or even a day) later than they actually occur.

I don't thank every report that pops up. Many times waze is in the background and doesn't give you the pop-up if you bring it back up. Other times, traffic is too busy to look at my phone. I appreciate every report, even the ones that aren't there. They give me a heads up of possible activity on the shoulder so I can look for a spot in the next lane over. It's more for the other people's benefit than mine.

Keep reporting, they help this old trucker.

To be honest, this doesn't work correctly anymore on the international server since months. People barely receive the "thumbs up" notifications anymore for no obvious reasons.
