galaxy 4 signal lost

When i use the gps with arm's clip everything works fine,
But when i keep my phone inside the car as a driver or next to the driver there is no signal at all.
why is that?
unnecessary to mention that with lg 3 and galaxy 5 the reception are very good even inside a bus.

Hi,

Depend on the phone and the car you are in.
Renault, for example, have heated front screens and getting any signal through them is near impossible!
I have a Galaxy SIII and have it on a holder in the car centre of the dash and the signal is fine (except around petrol stations where there's "no gps signal" so I can't update prices!).
