Why do I keep getting ads?
I am new to this but not sure why I keep getting ads like Pizza Hut or Cheetos? Do they go away after a level or do I have to change a setting?

There are two types of ads in Waze - and even high ranking users can't get rid of them...
- Ad Pins - small icons (usually logos) on the Waze map, you should see no more than three of these at a time
- Display Ads - these show up at the top of the screen when you are stopped & will automatically disappear when you start moving again.

Waze is a free navigation app. The ads are revenue for Waze and what the businesses hope is more revenue for them by increased customer flow.
As Andy mentioned, the on-screen advertisements only display when you are stopped and go away as soon as movement is detected. There is no way to hide all advertisements.
