I would like more warning, please

Anyone know of a way to toggle Waze so it'll give me upcoming alerts a bit earlier? Most times "police reported ahead" happens when it's too late - maybe I'm driving too fast?? :-)

I agree the warning should be sooner. I also think the "is it there?" prompt should stay on the screen a little longer. I am also unsure if you get warnings for the opposite lane. I think you should get a trouble warning regardless of lane.

I'd like *less* warning, personally. I don't need 3 prompts to tell me to turn ahead when there is only one interchange or intersection around.

I think for Police reports it should warn you from either lane, but something like a road hazard it should not. And it does not warn for the other lane ever AFAIK. However, most such reports I see are on the interstate, and it's two separate roads, so could be that my data is skewed.

I'm beginning to think that Waze needs a Road Rage hazard... People are getting nuts on the roads.

Agreed, more warning on police locations would be helpful. And I also agree the road hazard warnings are currently just right.

Not talking about routing - talking exclusively about "watch out - police reported ahead".

If you are driving 80 miles an hour it can happen a bit late. ;-)

Completely agree on the "not there" button going away too soon too.

I got that now. Actually, isn't there a bug with alerts that they don't stop talking when Mute is turned on?

I don't think it's a bug... it seems to mute only the navigational prompts and not the warnings. I find it very useful. :)

I would like to have the ability to turn off navigation audio and only have audio on traffic feedback. Most of the time I know where I am going, but I would like to know what I can expect ahead. Looking at the phone all the time is not an option. Maybe it is already an option? I haven't found it :?
