Can't send waze link via text to iPhone from Android

Hi all,

Please let me know if this is just me. I use the Send ETA>more and go to my SMS app (android) to send ETA and link to view my drive all of the time to my wife from Android to Android. However when I follow this same procedure with an iPhone recipient, the text doesn't go through....even if I re-send from my SMS app directly. Nothing at all is received. Text messages not involving Waze are received normally. Any ideas what could be going on? Thanks!

It works for me, but I'm using Textra as my SMS app on my Android phone (Pixel 2XL with Android Oreo) to send a text to an iphone. The text goes out like any other text I send on Textra.
