There are currently no visual alerts for exceeding the limit. Personally I'd be a little concerned if there was such an alert given the desirability of keeping attention on the road (particularly when driving over the limit).

My iPhone is stuck to the window, just under my rear view mirror. I can see it very easily without changing my viewpoint. For visual alert, there is already a popup that appear. I just wish that the background would be in red if i'm speeding. I don't want additionnal text or anything. Just to show in red would get my attention and I would know I have to reduce my speed.

My Waze is connected to bluetooth and unfortunaly, I miss many sound alert so they don't help me. (and if I put Waze in speaker mode instead of bluetooth, it does not stay at full volume so I often don't hear it). So visuals are great for me.

Anyways, maybe they could include this feature in the setting menu, so that user can select if they want extra visual notifications or not.

I have noticed that of 4 cameras on my route home (all correctly reported via a notification area on the screen) only two of then generate a verbal warning.

Is this to be expected ? or is there an option I have missed ?

I did a careful experiment and that does seem to be the case!!

I agree !!! If some people don't like warnings at lower speeds then make it a config option.

This was requested before, Speed camera warning always audible needed but as far as I know no suggestion was created for it. If you'd like to make one please follow these guidelines:
