Updated 3 gas prices today on my ride to work. All of those prices were older than 60 days!
I try to keep them up to date.

Is there any plans to add E-85 in the future to the gas price feature so that these prices can be updated also.

The option is 4 fuel types in country. If your country coordinators decide to replace one of current types for E85 is solely their choice.
I think this would happen after E85 become widely spread in GS offerings.

E85 is very far from popular enough in the States to justify replacing any of the other four grades. "Regular" (87*), "Plus" (89), and "Premium" (91 or 93) are ubiquitous throughout the country, as is diesel. E85 is available at many stations in the Midwest (i.e., corn country), but hard or impossible to find everywhere else.

Most of the world, including Europe and Australia, uses the RON ("research octane number"), whereas the US, Canada, and Brazil use the "anti-knock index", which is calculated by the formula AKI = (RON + MON) / 2. You'll often see "R+M/2" on pump stickers for this reason. MON is usually 8 to 12 less than RON.)

Well, in California last week I was at a fuel station that had the standard 4 types plus hydrogen pumps. I couldn't figure out how to enter that into Waze. It was the first time I'd ever seen a hydrogen pump in the wild. It seems that the push for alternative fuel may make it difficult tracking fuel prices.

I am sorry to say that, most probably, there are better gas prices apps than Waze and I would bet, some of those would have this sorted out already...

GasBuddy is one of the most popular, but it has no provision for prices beyond the four standard grades. There used to be a comment that could be left along with the price submission and people would use that to write out additional price information, but they removed that from the mobile app during the last update.

Still, it does at least allow you to enter separate cash/credit pricing, whether E85 is available, etc...
