If you want to avoid tolls entirely, you would select the "Avoid toll roads" option. But if you want to take a toll road and you have an EZ Pass (or some other pass), go into the "Add toll/HOV passes" and chose which ones you have. This will allow you to be routed through Express lanes or any ramps that may be toll pass only ramps.

The new EZ Pass functions were not very well advertised, if you ask me. Lots of users were caught off guard and unaware.

"shortest/quickest" setting has been removed from the app starting with this version.

I have not experienced any of those issues either. I would also give it a few days to see if those problems persist or if they are just temporary before I reverted to an older version.

It may take a day for that to become active in the app, so give it another day and see if it appears.

Yes, it seems those options have been removed.

The blog post suggests there should be a new HOV option under "Settings > Navigation > Add Toll/HOV pass" but I'm not seeing it.

Waze can find me with GPS, but never downloads file, prompts or updates the maps on mobile data. When connected via wifi it all works, when connected to wifi mobile Hotspot it all works and navigation works as well as all downloads.

I have tried
Clearing waze cache
Uninstall, reboot reinstall waze
Installing waze and not logging in
Turning off 4g
Turning off wifi
Turning off 4g and wifi
Forcing to 4g only

Nothing seems to help
