Pause Spoken Audio Problem

The only time Waze pauses spoken audio is when app is in the background. If Waze is in the foreground, it just keeps playing the spoken audio and tries to speak over it with whatever instruction is current. Know a fix or workaround? Thanks!

Which phone and OS? This has been mentioned before
here if you are on IOS.

So I guess no one has a possible fix or anything? I've reinstalled the Waze app twice and still have the same audio problem.

3 weeks now - No Waze support response to the problem here or on Twitter
