I have been using Waze daily for several months. Today, I cannot connect. I assume it is a network overload here in Washington, DC with the shutdown of the Metro. But, it would be helpful if Waze let us DC region users know that. I am reluctant to delete the app, etc. if it is just Waze network overload.

When perform a search always says: something went wrong, try again and at the top always says Searching network.

I have a new S7 Edge and when I tried to open the application didn't work, I uninstall and re-install the app, but nothing work :(

I tried everything else.... finally I simply Uninstaller the app, restarted my phone, and installed waze again. It was an updated version and now works perfect.

I was having the same problem and the problem occurred all of a sudden. I tried several of the fixes listed in various strings on this site. Then I remembered that there are some data settings under the cellular network. Go to General cellular and then scroll down until you find the Waze App and make sure that that switch is turned to the on position.

I don't remember ever turning this off it must of got hit by accident. As soon as I turn the switch on Waze was acting normal again.

Yo, WAZE - this is still an issue. I am on the latest version of Waze and Android (see signature). I cannot change the APN or the Wireless Calling settings as there are no options but the default.

Waze 4.8.0.2

SWFan wrote:This started about five days ago. I'm using Waze 3.2.2.0 on an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1.1. If I'm on a wifi network it works just fine, but when I'm on the AT&T 3G network its now like it doesn't recognize there is a network. Nothing updates on the map when on 3G. Its been working fine for the last two months.

I've tried powering off the phone, I've also tried a phone hard reset. Neither kicks it out of search network.

Also, when on 3G and it says searching network I can open up Safari and browse the web just fine, I can open Google Maps and it works fine too. So I know I have a network connection. So why can't Waze suddenly see it?
I have exactly the same problem: many times Waze says Searching network...
It was much more reliable before the recent Waze update.
