Carpool feature is running only on USA selected cities, Israel and Brazil; maybe you're from different place of the world.

The latest Android update no longer has the Lock North Up option, and defaults to the map constantly rotating. Also it places the arrow icon showing where I am at the bottom of the screen instead of the middle. And it has a stupid "Car info" button covering half the arrow icon. I've been using Waze for nearly a decade, but I'm about ready to delete it from my phone since I find it unusable in its current state.

tried couple of different ways to search, but couldn't find I am looking for. I tried my first carpool as driver but wasn't able to use android auto on car dashboard for pickup. Is this a feature? or not in the app yet? Is it planned? If not we, drivers, need it for car pool so much.

Thanks for the answer. I might not have made my self clear. I am in a US city that have the carpool feature enabled. I already drove someone with it by using the app in the phone. What I am asking is, when the phone is connected to the car and waze is android auto mode, app was not allowing me to use the driver features of carpooling. So, my question is, is this the expected behavior? Is carpool driver functionality will work on waze in android auto mode?

Having to constantly reset the lock north option isn't the only bad part--the toggle to do so is way too small to hit safely while you're driving.

And what twists the knife even further is this is working perfectly fine in the iOS version.

New update, menu option for lock north appears to be back.
