Does anyone else have issues with the sound randomly going out? I've almost missed police alerts because the sound went silent without my knowing it. At other times, it will randomly come on with alerts but then go back out again with no navigation or alerts. What to do?

For me, an alert will start playing nearly silently then suddenly switch to normal volume part way through.

The handling of sound in Waze has always been problematic. I don't know if it's because they are having to handle a wide variety of situations or if the phone's API doesn't give them the tools and control they need.

I have Waze set to always play through the phone speaker. However, my phone is connected to my car through Bluetooth so I can make and receive phone calls.
