It's a great improvement of the application in general but please let me repeat from the previous beta feedbacks that in 2D portrait it's also a problem and the toolbar covers half of the map in front of the car. The previous scheme in 3.2 was much more usefull. Additionaly, when the new "social" toolbar adds on top of it last ~500 m before destination, it's impossible to see the route to destination, especialy in complex net of small streets I was lost and had to shift the map manually while driving.

Proposed solutions
navigation toolbar
* revert to 3.2 style
or at least
* allow to set the transparency level of the toolbar
and/or
* make the toolbar smaller also in (2D?) portrait

social toolbar
* allow to switch it off
(BTW, this toolbar doesn't disappear even if I go many kilometers beyond the original destination...

The comments in WALL sections of groups still not updated! I mean, I have 4 comments in a wall message I left, but waze reports ZERO. So I never know when someone answered me.
Also, If someone writes a message in WALL in a group I participate (or, at least, the main one), I would like to be adviced with a message when waze starts... not the comments, but new wall messages only.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus, 4.1.1 & Samsung S3, 4.04.

Missing icons: Bottom left & right slider/buttons on main map view. The base texture (light blue boxes) is present, but instead of the colored icons the darker blue "inset" is present. Same goes for the first window, prompting a Facebook login, as well as the "Share" window.. the icon at the top is missing.

Aliasing: When zoomed out to the fullest, the purple route line does not "smooth out" and is jagged/straight over turns.

Seems to run in the background better than ever before.

Absolutely not, the coverage is perfect the other app works fine, only waze and only this version. In the same places, with the previous version I never +1had any problems.

Yes, I agree. I also think that we should be able to report heavy traffic and hazards that we see in the lanes traveling in the opposite direction that we are traveling. Also, would be great if we could press and hold a spot off the road to add a text box that can say, for example "building on fire" or "brush fire".

You can and have been able to for ages. When you report something there is a "my lane/other lane option. This changes the highlighted direction of travel next to it and as such moves the report to the other side of the road

Just some quick feedback.

The voice navigator gets really repetitive. As in, i would be less than a mile from a turn and it would remind me to make that turn several times in that mile, sometimes just moments apart.

Is there a way to fix this?

No. There are a maximum of three reminders, the count and distance from the turn are dependent on speed.
