I hooked via cable into the car stereo today and experienced a few crashes. I was running in debug mode and uploaded logs at about 12:30am GMT.

No crashed when hooked to the car via bt.

Did more testing with BT and docking. Never had a crash which was bt-specific.

But the dock connection was especially bad if you remove Waze from the "running" apps list first. The splash screen is all that would appear. As soon as I unplugged that, it worked great and ran fine if I plugged the dock connector in after. This aligns with what many people have reported. Another set of logs uploaded at 1:15am GMT.

The weekend started already, so don't expect any feedback until Sunday. If people are sending in crash logs, I'm sure they'll be able to isolate several of the most annoying bugs within a week or two.

For many, the work week begins on Sunday and ends on Thursday. That is the pattern we've seen for years now. (Hence the old humor about "waze (editor/routing) is down on Thursday evening again: oh, yeah, it's because the weekend has started. It'll be back up on Sunday.")

Minimize turns has been disabled on the server for quite a long time, supposedly. The client-side option had no effect.

And, wow, a new beta version out already! Sweet.

The bar right above that DOES display traffic alerts and road speeds along the route. What is missing, though, is the ability to see this update at all times somewhere on the screen while navigating. It's a popular, oft-requested feature.

Jailbroken or not? Do you have anything plugged into the dock connector?

That's the issue and it's been posted by a several people in this thread. It is not fixed in the current beta either. They are trying to find the cause of the crashes.

I am testing the beta against the issues raised in this thread.

You can't be bothered to read anything in this thread? Including the last post JUST BEFORE your's? It's pretty much confirmed.
