Google Voice location sharing not working on V3.5

When using the new "Meet Up" function and either "Share", "My Drive, or "Pick up" is selected and one selects to send a location or request for location through "Send via text message" we are given the option to send the text message through various texting applications, such as the default text messaging phone application, Facebook Messenger, and Google Voice. When i select any other application other than the default texting application, Waze generates a blank text in Google Voice and only opens the Face Book Messenger application without generating any message.
