This is more than I expected. Automatic icon helps of course better to understand how rail transport affects to road transport. If impact is high, then it is possible to make Waze even better in future.

Of course there are exceptions like car train in some countries. Train between FR-UK is not good sample, this is more like subway, but train itself is something similar.

PS. I know good place for Waze office too, if needed. :D

Better is if Waze makes loudly "train is leaving station" sound

and you may superfast pick phone from pocket and turn Waze off

Ferry is bit easier question and in Estonia Waze have no problem with ferries https://world.waze.com/editor/?zoom=3&l ... FFTFTTTTFT Of course it will be nicer to have "Ferry line" road type :) and "Ice road" too (you may see them on same map named as "Jäätee:").

Offtopic: Top Gear on Estonian ice-roads http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/Drivin ... 2013-03-01 Why they do not use Waze?
