ZTE Acqua (v880e) GPS issue

Hi
I bought zte acqua as temporary phone where I am using also waze. On previous android phones all was doing fine. This phone has Android 4.0.4 from ZTE. I have big trouble with GPS. GPS is constantly disconnecting. I don't know if this is "feature" of this phone, or something changed in android4. Did someone experienced similar issue on cheap android phones from china ? Is it some way how waze app can tell phone to stay connected on GPS allways ? since it looks like it is not working for me.
I am running 3.5.0.0 client.
