Waze Measurement Units

On Android Waze I get many pop-ups saying 'hazard in xxx Feet'. I'm pretty sure this means 'yards' and not 'feet'

It is currently in meters, yes. Known issue.

This was planned for 3.9 but didn't make it in time. It should use yards in some future version.

Any idea when this will be fixed? It's still happening with the latest version on my Motorola Droid RAZR.

With v 3.9.0 on iOS I get distances in miles, down to 1/4 mile, then it changes to feet - eg. "Turn left onto xyz in 1000 feet". PLEASE Waze, no one uses feet when driving, use yards if units of measurement is set to "Miles".
